Job Title: Butcher Associate – Food Manufacturing (2nd Shift)
Location: Vernon, CA
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
Start Date: Wednesday, October 29, 2025 (First day at 1:00 PM for onboarding)

 

Position Summary

We are hiring Butcher Associates to join our food manufacturing team in Vernon, CA . This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in learning meat processing and production in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. No prior experience is required — we provide full training!

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products according to specifications.
• Work safely with knives and cutting tools in a cold food production environment .
• Maintain a fast and steady pace to meet production goals.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and sanitation guidelines.
• Support a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality and efficiency.

 

Qualifications

• No prior experience required — training will be provided.
• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment .
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States ( E-Verify required ).

 

Work Environment

• Cold environment (protective gear provided).
• Fast-paced production floor with teamwork and communication required.
• Use of sharp tools and knives — safety training provided.
