Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Setting: Corrections /Correctional Facility
Start Date: 8/18/25
Pay Range: $1,300 - $1,400/weekly
Schedule: 12-Hour Days, 6am - 7pm, every other weekend
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly

Requirements:

• 1 years of experience as an LPN
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 years of experience in Corrections
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Be willing to obtain SC licensure or compact licensure

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• Administer routine and emergency medical care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, adhering to the scope of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Administer medications, including injections and oral medications, following physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting observations, treatments, and medication administration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a secure, structured environment—providing care that truly matters.
