As an owner-operator, you will be pivotal in moving freight efficiently while adhering to port and industry regulations. Safely transport containerized freight from ports to warehouses or distribution centers. Manage and schedule fleet maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Comply with all federal, state, local, and company policies regarding safety and freight handling. Keep accurate records of deliveries and comply with all documentation requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Manage personal business operations, including administrative tasks, finances, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong driving skills and familiarity with drayage operations.
