Position Overview:

The Senior Director of Market Strategy, Card and Banking is a key role on the TransUnion Financial Services Team. This role is responsible for developing strategies that propel the business forward and overseeing their execution. It offers a unique opportunity to utilize both analytical and creative talents while deepening understanding of banking operations, from large card issuers to community credit unions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in retail financial services or credit card lending
  • Domain expertise in areas like credit risk management, marketing, fraud, collections, or contact center operations
  • Hands-on experience in crafting business strategies, synthesizing market intelligence, and financial analysis
  • University education and professional experience supporting this role's demands
  • Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings, industry events, and internal meetings

Impact You'll Make:

  • Identify and define growth strategies based on industry trends, competitive landscape, and TransUnion capabilities. Manage progress against the three-year business plan and related initiatives.
  • Support the creation of original market insights and contribute to financial forecasting practices, working with large data sets and analytical tools.
  • Represent the team in forums with senior internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating refined decision-making and interpersonal skills.
  • Lead multiple initiatives, communicate effectively across stakeholders, and produce high-quality written content.

Pay Scale: The U.S. base salary range is $166,800 - $250,000 annually. Actual compensation depends on education, experience, skills, location, responsibilities, and market factors. Positions may be eligible for bonuses, long-term incentives, and other compensation as per company plans.
