🪪 Licensure & Certifications:
• Current RN License (MO or eligible for MO)
• Required: BLS (AHA only)
• Preferred: ACLS (AHA only)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year Med Surg
🔄 Float Requirements: May float to other units based on staffing needs
🛏 Unit Information:
• Beds: 30
• Patient Ratios: 1:6–7 (not guaranteed)
• Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo enteral feeding pumps, wound vacs, SCD machines, PCA pumps, low air loss mattresses, remote telemetry monitors
• EMR: EPIC
🧠 Patient Types: GI, GU, Wound Care, Acute Withdrawal, AMS, Dialysis/ESRD, minor surgical

👕 Dress Code: Black Scrubs (no leggings or other attire)
📋 Auto Offer Guidelines:
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 (must be listed)
• Blocked scheduling may be approved based on facility needs
• RTO: 5 days or less (must make up missed week)
• Only 1 holiday RTO per assignment
• Offers contingent upon facility approval (may be retracted within 48 hours)
💪 Job Summary:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains accountability, evaluates effectiveness of care, and coordinates patient services across departments. Ensures patient rights, confidentiality, and compliance with Mercy’s mission, values, and standards.
🧍♀️ Working Conditions:
Frequent standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and assisting with patient transfers. Exposure to blood/body fluids. May vary schedule or shift as required.
