Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Venue Stagehand for the Uptown Theater in Minneapolis. The Stagehand will be responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing technical aspects related to the show(s) production. Duties include loading in and out band and rental equipment, securing passes and tickets, preparing guest lists, cabling, assisting audio and lighting crews, band set changes, communicating event details to production crew, hanging show banners, updating marquees and signage, coordinating food trays for the band, maintenance and repair of sound, light and stage equipment, assisting the Stage Manager with show passes, maintaining house backline and supplies, maintaining curtains, drapes, risers and staging items, assisting with stands, microphones, cables, fixtures, lamps, gels, cabling, operating and caring for stage areas safely and cleanly, assisting with special events operations, and ensuring stage cleanliness. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years tour and stage production experience, experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems, ability to handle multiple projects, proficiency with Microsoft applications, ability to move up to 75 lbs, ability to work in moderate to loud noise levels, superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills, and a high school diploma (college degree preferred).
