The Division of Nephrology at Banner University Medical Group is recruiting an Adult Clinical Nephrologist for both inpatient and outpatient care within the academic environment. The candidate selected will receive a Clinical Series or Clinical Scholar faculty appointment to the University of Arizona, at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor based on experience and credentials.
Requirements include:
- Board Eligible/Certified in Nephrology
- Performs inpatient/outpatient clinical care, satellite clinical coverage, and outpatient dialysis rounding
- Fellow and Resident supervision
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, and publications
Work Schedule / Call:
- 7 am - 5 pm
- 36 Patient contact hours, 4 Admin time hours/per week
- Inpatient Rounding: 10-25 patients/average 6-7 months/year
- Outpatient Clinic: 8-12 patients/average 3-4 half day clinics/week
- Current weekend on call for nephrology consultation service: 1:8 (shared equally)
